Built in 1956 the iconic Kirra Beach Hotel is undergoing a $2mil transformation including a new bar, improved gaming area, restaurant, kid's room, alfresco dining area, bottle shop, fine wine cellar and a major facelift. Working in an unusual space with structural columns and beams, Food Strategy's design brief for the main bar was to consider the TAB service area and a cash change point, service towards the beer garden and existing public bar at the front of the hotel.
